Jake, WordPress requires mySQL – not sure if any free hosts have that.

i googled free domain hosting and ended up getting a list of sites on the following url http://www.free-webhosts.com/search-webhosts.php now for upload: they say FTP, Browser, SiteCopy in some of them and under scripting it said CGI, PHP, SSI, FrontPage Extensions, Perl,java what do they mean and for the upload ones can i upload it inn a wordpress.org fomat

Hi Jake,

A domain (i.e. http://www.{yourname}.com) definitely costs money. But you may be able to find some free (ad supported) web hosts around.

to uplad your site using your downloadable wordpress.org
