Over on the Adsense blog, announced that you can put Adsense ads for your unused domains.
According to Google, these ads convert well.
Here is the Google Adsense for Domains page, and the quick start guide.
Well, I’m supposed to see the option to select Adsense for Domains from my Adsense Setup tab. But I’m not seeing it yet. Maybe later.
But its a good thing yeah?
Sounds absolutely evil part of Google from an advertiser point of view considering people don’t click on the PPC portion off the search engines, they’re now trying to get adword/domain squatting scammers to cheat (how do parked domain add experience or valuable information in anyway)?
Rather then trying to stomp out this practice by taking parked domain off the searches, they’re actually enabling by adding incentive to this crappy practice.
Bleh. Google is now on its path to being the new Microsoft.
Hey Myron!
Haha.. interesting thoughts. I guess the Adsense/Adwords people within Google are not buying into the vision of “organizing the world’s information”
This is great news! I am currently using Sedo.com domain parking service. I will definitely try this AdSense for domains especially for those domains which I do not intend to sell.
I wonder how this new AdSense for domains will affect GoDaddy’s CashParking service.
There has to be an ulterior motive behind this for Google. Um let me think? Revenue!! Could be very lucrative for the big G.
Dave
How are they compared to Sedo then? It must be a good earning venture since its still new.
Hi Kian Ann,
lol..I checked it out. Google actually want to you put adsense on nothing domains. weird. I guess they make the rules but I never would have thought of this.
Cheers Nigel
there are lots of make money online schemes these days. but Adsense, YPN, Adbrite and Kontera are the most reliable companies to deal with.
i am pretty new to this Make money online stuff. i started making money online by monetizing my blogs and websites using Adsense, Adbrite and Kontera. i have yet to try affiliate marketing.
There are other options besides parking for profiting from your unused domains.
I not knocking google at all, but typically parking doesnt do very well. There are definate exceptions to that rule.
Anyway great post and information.
I agree with Chad
There are other ways besides parking to make money with unused domains.
Thank you for your idea.
I have some unused domain names and still wondering what should I do with them.
