Blogtipping January 2007!
Welcome to a brand new year of blogging!
I took a break from this blog yesterday, and it refreshing!… but I missed BlogTipping yesterday, so I shall make it up to you people! Here are my three BlogTippees for January!
BlogTippee #1
The first is Amrit Hallan’s Content Writing and Copywriting Blog!
- I love your new template! Clean and Professional!
- Your frequency of updates are wonderful! One post per day, and sometimes more, right?
- Its also great that you respond to comments - blogging is just the tool, the blogger creates the conversation!
One thing I’d love to have is your photo back up again!
Putting your photo is like putting a face to your blog.
BlogTippee #2
Andrew Flusche’s Legal Andrew
- The title says it all - great articles about the legal world!
- I love all the gadgets you add to your blog - polls, Skype status, etc. You even have mobile edition of your blog!
- Great use of WordPress pages for additional content!
Oh, and Andrew was awarded an SOB a couple of days ago! Congrats Andrew!
BlogTippee #3
Shi Heng Cheong’s Singapore SEO and Search Marketing!
- Great move to go into WordPress. WordPress rocks!
- I love the way you put pictures in almost every post!
- Okay okay, I looked at the code - and its powerful SEO alright! (What to do? You are Singapore’s Best!)
It would be great to get started with your own blog template design (I know you will say that the design doesn’t really matter, but more of the SEO and the content
) But with a template you build yourself, you will have more flexibility where you want to put stuff, and where your things can be!
Do drop these wonderful blogs a visit, and let them know what you think!
What is this Blog Tipping about?
Here’s the description from Easton Ellsworth, the founder of Blogtipping!
It’s where you forget yourself for a few minutes and think about another blogger. It’s a win-win. All you do is this: Say three nice things and offer one simple tip.

Hi Kian,
Thanks a ton for tipping me this month! The cool thing is that I was just thinking about partaking in blogtipping as well. I guess this settles it; I’ll be joining in for February.
Take care,
Andrew

My pleasure Andrew, a good blogger deserves a pat on the back, and in the blogosphere, “pat on the back” = “blogtipping”
Have fun!

Thanks for blog-tipping me. I’ll work harder.
You see, pictures actually make me “proud” of post when you show off your blogs to your peers and friends!
Also, it helps to put that little touch and impression that you want to leave on your mind, sometime sub-consciously.
Wordpress template? I am working on it. But not for Shi Hengcheong yet. At the moment, I want to use this blog template as an example of how easily one can make a Wordpress blog template search engine friendly.
I will work on a new Wordpress template for TIMMGuru.com instead.

Hehe.. yeah - pictures can help to make posts a lot nicer, rather than plain text all the time! Good to “show off!”

Hi Kian!
Thanks for tipping my blog and your words of appreciation! I generally, on an average, if my work permits, try to post three posts per day.
Regarding the photograph, it’s there on the “About Me” page. But you’re right, may be I should put it back on the front page.
Thanks a ton again
