Reinforcements have arrived!

Before I start thinking and researching today’s post, I want to announce something!

My books from Amazon.com have arrived! Finally! It took over three weeks to arrive because I wanted to save on shipping, using VPost (Singapore Post’s Virtual Mailbox service)

Here are the five books!

  1. The Corporate Blogging Book - Absolutely Everything You Need to Know to Get It Right (Debbie Weil)
  2. Publish and Prosper - Blogging for Your Business (DL Byron & Steve Broback)
  3. Naked Conversations - How Blogs are Changing the way Business Talk with Customers (Rober Scoble/Shel Israel)
  4. Blogging for Business - Everything You Need to Know and Why You Should Care (Shel Holtz & Ted Demopoulos)
  5. Blog Marketing - The Revolutionary New Way to Increase Sales, Build Your Brand, and Get Exceptional Results (Jeremy Wright)

So, this makes my blogging book library look like this!

Blogging Books

Its not a big collection yet, considering I buy 5 school textbooks every half a year, but its a good start.

Why so many books?

Do they work? I mean - I spent almost S$200 on these books now, am I getting my money back on these?

To be frank, let me tell you this. Knowledge does not make you money. Its putting knowledge and ideas into action that make you money! So authors of these books, listen up, I’m going to really put your ideas into action, and I’ll let you know the results!

As to date, I have heard right from the mouths of two millionaires that have told me that they are “information junkies” - KC See (CEO of Quest Group), and the late Cody Rudl (former CEO of Internet Marketing Centre). They read a whole lot! They have big libraries of books! And if Anthony Robbins tell me that one of the best way to success is to model after successful people, let me model after these two millionaires (and many others out there) to start my journey towards being one.

So, the next few days would be particularly interesting. I’d be reading so much about corporate blogging, and its going to be so exciting to see how I can apply them to the Singapore context!

Oh! By the way, some updates on my own book! The other day I was asking Ted (author of Blogging for Business and many other books) to write for me a forward when I am done with my book, and he agreed! So I am announcing it here to give myself more stress to get the book up!

*Geeesh I better get working on it!*

Well, I think if I want to do something, then I want to be the best there is in it! I’ll want to claim the title of being THE Singapore Corporate Blogging Consultant, not just another little fish in the ocean. :)

Is it good to have big dreams?
