Modelling the ExpertsI spent some time in the past few days looking around and modelling from the best blogs out there in the blogosphere, and made tweaks to this blog to model after these professional bloggers.

Look and Feel

I’ve made the titles bigger, and changed the font, so they stand out more from the text itself – well, its just me wanting so badly to move into the Web 2.0 trend.

Author Page

I realised that my previous bio does say much about me! I’ve pumped in more stuff about myself, and uploaded a picture of myself! Check that out in the author page. Now you know what I look like.

Installed some Plug-ins

Installed two other plug-ins, one for you to subscribe to comments you post here, and another to drop me an email via the author page.

Daily Reads

More and more powerful and authoritative blogs on my daily reads! I’m so impressed with what there is out there. I was originally concerned about the number of links on my site, because Google said I should keep the links on a given page to a fewer than 100… but I was looking at some of the other blogs like ProBlogger which had 332 links and Ensight which had 312… so I guess my 120+ doesn’t do much harm. Besides, most of my links are internal and/or only to related sites.

These sites listed on my daily reads are the best out there! Check them out.

SEO Toolbox

My SEO toolbox is exploding! Actually, I added two more categories out there – WordPress Plug-ins, and Firefox Extensions… Well, I think I need to take time to sort out the toolbox a little. Not all links are related to SEO, so probably I could have a different page for SEO, Blogging, Web Design and things like that. Soon to come.

What else? Maybe I’ve done others but I’ve forgotten them. Heh. It just keeps getting better. :)

I wanted to get AJAX commenting (so cool!), but I freaked out when I saw the code and almost wet my pants. Maybe some other day when I am more free.

Let me know how you feel about the tweaks, or have I missed anything that I should be using?
