Internet Explorer 7Today, many sites are designed for Internet Explorer 6. While IE is one of the more popular browsers, it is important to note that IE is not as W3C standards compliant as FireFox, Netscape, Safari and Opera. The way IE6 displays several HTML elements are not the same as what is displayed in Firefox, so a page that looks great IE6 may look horrible in Firefox.

Now, the thing is, Microsoft is working towards building a W3C compliant browser – Internet Explorer 7! This means that IE7 will start to display HTML elements much like Firefox or Opera, and this means many pages which display wonderfully in IE6 now may look horrible in IE7!

So, if you have been designing your blogs or websites and it looks good on IE6. Its time to check out how it looks like on Firefox and Opera, if not, you may get a rude shock when IE7 rolls out!

While how the page is displayed will not affect much on your efforts on blog marketing, since the search engine sees the text (and now how it is displayed), it does help to keep the visitors reading when they land on your page! A badly designed site is one sure way to piss off your visitors!
